A pilot project at Manchester Cathedral founded in 2011 with a group of like-minded people with a belief that there is another way to support people who want to work. The Cathedral opened its doors and allowed the project to be creative and try out new ideas, hence Volition was born. They believe volunteering could play a bigger role in tackling poverty, social exclusion and ultimately reduce unemployment in cities.

The Solution

After winning the pitch to work on the Volition project we were able to put our creative skills to use starting by producing a colourful, original logo, which was adaptable for online and printed materials. Carrying this forward we created folders, leaflets, post cards, pop up banners and a fully functioning website. Mock-ups for further merchandise was undertaken, presenting ideas for badges, key rings and T-shirts.

Since the project we have been given further work form Manchester Cathedral and they are continually happy with our work.
